If you ride a 125cc mini bike or scooter, these are some of the best tyres you can fit. The Michelin City Grip 2 is a great tyre in the dry but it’s even better in the wet. With a fast warm-up and good tyre life, it’s a top choice if you’re commuting around town.
It’s not just limited to 125cc scooters either. If you ride a mid-sized maxi scooter like a Yamaha Xmax 250 or Honda SH300i they’ll work brilliantly and if you ride a big boy maxi-scoot like a Yamaha Tmax 530 these will feel like you’re running race-spec wets!
Mileage is always hard to quote on scooter tyres as an 11-inch tyre will do more rotations than a 16-inch tyre for a given mileage. Expect to get around 3,000 miles from a rear tyre.
The Michelin City Grip 2 is an All-Round Scooter tyre offering riders:
- All-weather compound with a significant percentage of silica for great wet grip.
- Shark Tooth’ tread pattern offering superb mechanical grip and water drainage on wet roads.
- Nimble handling for inner city commuters.
- If you can’t find the size you’re looking for maybe try the original City Grip here.
- All sizes tubeless type.
- REINF = reinforced.
